School Information
Learn about the National Academy and what it stands for.
According to MicroWiki,
"The National Academy, officially the National Academies of the Federated States of Gapla, is a public school in the Federated States of Gapla. It is one of the nation's only public school and one of only three schools in the Federated States of Gapla, amongst one other charter school (National School for the Performing Arts) and one other private school.
Founded in 2015 by Wyatt Baek under the United Republics of Gapla and Phoenix, the Academy provided remedial support for students who were struggling in school subjects under the direction of textbooks created by Wyatt and eventually other teachers. While originally focusing on mathematics, the National Academy today has courses in a variety of subjects at a multitude of levels.
Unlike many other micronational schools, the National Academy is in full operation as any other small school would and has classes meeting weekly on Zoom, with rare sessions in an hourly rented facility. This is likely due to the high value of education placed in Gapla as well as a demand for educational services, presumably due to a more intellectually gifted population, as Gapla was founded inside a gifted program."
